Enamel on riveted aluminum 31" x 23"
Working though burnout and trying to reconnect with my art. I had the idea to create my own aircraft nose art. I bought a rivet gun and taught myself how to rivet. I also wanted to learn how to use enamel paint like they used on the old planes. This panel is a recreation of the port side of a B-17 including the lower corner of the navigator window. It feels good to touch materials and work with a paintbrush again.
